Jeremiah 7:26-28

²⁶ But they did not obey me or listen to me. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their fathers.

²⁷ So say all these things to them, but they will not listen to you. Call to them, but they will not answer you. ²⁸ Say to them, “This is the nation that did not obey the Lord its God or accept discipline. Faithfulness has perished, and it has disappeared from their lips.
